Re: All of blablas basses..... Again!
Love the new thread; more concise by category - well done! I too had lost my links at Photobucket, but there was a recent thread with a browser "fix" that allowed me (and several others) to regain the links to the pics in our threads. I'm curious what photo storing site you've gone to for your new posts?
R&B Stretch Bass, Walter Woods 1000w Green-Light Stereo Amp, AccuGroove El Whappo and TR112, assorted axes, amps, cabs...

Most of the picture in my previous topic were on postimg.org, they were forced to move to postimg.cc.
The reference to Photof*cket was just part of my copy and paste job.
I know of this fix, have it installed in my Opera and Firefox browsers, but I want all visitors to see the pictures, not just the ones with this fix. As far as Photof*cket is concerned they are a dead end - Been there, done that, hate them for screwing all forums worldwide!

Wow! I am really impressed with your built basses! I want one! Can you tell me what the fretboard is on the MK IV singlecut fretless?

Lefty Harley Benton Fiesta Red PB-50, ordered one eight months ago right after it was announced, today it finally arrived!

Are you a ZZ Top fan by any chance?

Very good.
A bit more detailed answer - I don't like their music, do like their showmanship.

Will you be considering a headstock re-shape?

Re: All of blablas basses..... Again!
When I ordered it I was planning on doing so but I actually do like the headstock design of the HB J and P basses so decided to leave it as it is.

The headstock has an Entwhistle/Buzzard Bass look to it...

Re: All of blablas basses..... Again!
To me it sounds as a single coil P-bass should.
Was it worth the wait... I guess it was because for only 109 euro you get a very well built bass which plays and sounds very nice.
It has a thick P style neck, very good fretwork and a very good paint/polish job. Only minor thing I can find to complain abobut is the spacing of the pole pieces on the pickup, this does not affect the sound in any way it just looks wrong.
Fretwork.

Pole piece spacing.

It's really the pickup that's off, string spacing on the bridge is 19 millimeters which is the 4 string standard.

€109?
That was a steal. Is that the regular price or was this one B stock?

I ordered one since I wanted one from the beginning, after all this is a great deal, 51 style P-basses don't come up very often, specially in fiesta red!
