I love my L-2000, this model is such an under rated bass. The switch configuration is just amazing as you can get so many different tones.

With a mod.

I did it, and now use the split-coil mode 80-90% of the time.

Another shout out for the L-2000. Mine is one of my favorite basses. Most powerful sounding bass I own. Makes me REALLY want to try an L-2500
