Sadowsky NYC 2016 5 String (2016) *** PRICE UPDATE!!!
Posted: March 20th, 2018, 10:20 am
** UPDATE. If your interested, I am dropping the price on this bass by a LOT if your in the ballpark to purchase. I need to take care of a payment and lowering this price. PM me and we can talk. My price in mind is a no brainer for Lower48 folks.
I have been very hesitant to do this but I have to fund some things and offload a few more basses. I have a MINT condition Sadowsky NYC built in 2016. I had a long conversation on this bass with Lisa from Sadowsky at the past NAMM show. It was ordered for a righty but the guy wound up going a different rout and it was returned. The body is chambered and the balance is great. Perfect for those long gigs. I received this bass in partial trade and cash deal from a dealer. It was build for a pro righty (confusing I know) and converted back to lefty from Sadowsky.
Pics really don't do this finish justice. Its so darn pretty in person. I need to get some pics with natural light to see the dark red hilights..
Here are the specs:
-Sadowsky NYC 5 string (July 2016) <Custom Order>
-Chambered Ash body
-Maple neck, black dots (beautiful maple fingerboard) with headstock Sadowsky Logo upside-down. This is custom.
-Luminlay glow in the dark dots (both sides)
-Dark Cherry Burst Gloss finish (with protectant film on the back)
-Chrome Tuners and Bridge
-Sadowsky Pickups (in case you didn't know, these are actually Seymour Duncan pickups in a Sadowsky brand stamp cover. Sadowsky get their pickups for Dimarzio and Duncan. Duncan are the latest)
-70's String Spacing (custom)
-Sadowsky Preamp with VTC and push/pull passive
-Tortoise Shell Pickguard with a little blood red in it (still has protectant film on it)
-12" radius fingerboard
-19mm String Spacing
-Bone Nut Width 1.875
-8lb range
-Original Sadowsky Porta-bag (latest)
Tools, Cleaner, truss wheel tool, luminlay activator light, birth document certificate from Roger and paperwork (ecverything that comes with a new bass unused)
* there is a small plug hole where the strap lock was installed on the lower horn. Sadowsky plugged this and can hardly be seen. There is a strap lock in the normal place on the top horn.
This bass is basically brand new. I can't keep what I don't play live or collect anymore and only play my Spector basses. The rest will soon go. These basses new street with wait time would run over $5,500.00
$4300 Shipped US Lower48/USA Only.... No Trades!!
