Picture Saving Locations!

Post by fivebass52 »

What sites are you guys using to store your pictures online? I've been using Photobucket for years, but it seems it takes their site forever to load up my albums or pictures when I click on them. Anything out their easier/faster? Thanks....
R&B Stretch Bass, Walter Woods 1000w Green-Light Stereo Amp, AccuGroove El Whappo and TR112, assorted axes, amps, cabs...

I've been using Flickr for several years, if you sign up you'll get 1tb for free. May not be the best option out there but works perfectly fine!

imgur is free, appears to have no storage limit, and allows you to direct-link to a picture without all of the stupid bull shit that photobucket does.

I find imgur great for one-off image posting (and wasting time during the work day), but I haven't used it much for assembling and organizing albums. It doesn't seem to be set up for that, if that's your goal.

I use Google Photos, but I don't like it. I loved Picasa back when it was Picasa, but Google ate Picasa and pooped out Photos. Now I'm stuck with it for legacy reasons more than anything else.

BTW, Google does some creepy shit. I used Gmail to send a picture of a person as an attachment to an email with no text in the subject line or body. I later searched my email for that person's name, and the search returned the email with the picture. Make of that what you will!

I know this is old but still relevant .....

I used to belong to the free version of photobucket for years like so many others until last year when it would load more ads than anything as well as taking FOREVER to load up the folder pages.
I changed to the paid version and all that went away.

Ad Free (no additional storage or bandwidth) - $14.99 / Year

when I did it there was a bonus of 8gigs so now I have 10gigs. They still offer the 15bucks a year ad-free plan but it is still 2gigs unless they are continuing with the bonus??? that I do not know.
