Guitar actually arrived. It never received an origin scan from UPS, so it just magically appeared at the door yesterday without any tracking updates. I set it up with green Neon DR strings I had laying around for such an occasion. They really pop (visually) with the black metallic finish, and the bass has cleaned up nicely. Plays as well as any American p or j I've gotten my hands on.
Bass is a 2009-2010 Indonesian, from the Cort factory. Weighs in at 7.5lbs!!!
Only problem I have to fix is that the neck pickup springs are shot. I either have to just use a piece of foam underneath the pup or find some new springs.
I just plugged it into a GK 210 combo we have here at the shop, and it sounds much better than I expected. I don't think I will need to change a thing. Pics when I got 'em.
