I've been deeply thinking about keeping this beauty but i really don't want to have a such nice bass seating in the case.
The bass is all hooked up, got new truss rods installed, treble bezel, zero mod thumb rest, a hipshot bridge and the push/pull switch. I still have the old pot, the gril that goes on the bridge pickup and the bridge and will ship it all with it. The original bridge started lifting the tail and lots of people said it doen's affect the bass but i wanted to try the hipshot one. The bass has some wear and tear but overall is awesome and plays like a Rick should. I'm looking to get 1750 shipped CONUS. The case itself is very heave so shipping won't be cheap so i'm including shipping with the sale. Gonna weight the bass and case separately later. Included are some pics from when i first got it. I'll add some pics later with the mods. The case has some scuffs and the right latch is broken. Oh, and the sticker on the pickguard is gone!

How are you justifying your selling price when its pretty scratched up and its been modded? (honest question, I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk), its just that I've seen mint condition feelers go for 1750 on other forums.

Seems like a pretty fair price to me - lefty Rics are scarce

Scratched up... yes like any other bass. To me it's not bad but it depends on who looks at it.
I changed a few things on this bass but they are all reversible and all of the original parts are included on the sale so if you don't like you can always bring it back to the original.
I based the price on a "fair" deal comparing to what i paid for it and all of the money that i put on it. Also looking at the good side this bass has a brand new set of truss rods professionally installed so you don't have to worry about that down the road. With that being said i actually am selling this bass for less money than it cost me overall. It's a pretty good chance i may wanna keep this around a little longer if i move other basses.

I think a good luthier could probably do a very light sanding, and polish a lot of the scratches out of this bass... that would make a huge difference in bringing this beautiful color/bass back to life!

Like i said i am totally comfortable with the way this bass looks, it means it's been on the road! Now days it just hangs in my living room!
But thanks for the tip i think it is totally doable and who knows maybe down the road if i still have it i can give it a try!

Paulo, I didn't mean for you to do this step - it would be completely up to the buyer to decide, as they might like all the history the scratches represent. Or, they could spiff it up with a good polish job. But that should be their choice, not yours....
