I saw that, and it seems that the regular model would work well enough for a lefty.

But that 24" scale. Cramped!

Edited: I take it back. I forgot about the lateral taper of the body. That would be awkward as hell to play lefty.

Ok, so got a quick reply back from Rob Bailey, from Journey Instruments... this is it, and will keep you informed as to development...

Hi Ian,

thanks for writing,

most likely we won’t have a left-handed version out for 2 years in carbon. However, we’ll likely have a collapsible wood version out this year that will be left-handed.

Take care,

And my original inquiry...

Just read an Article on No Treble website regarding your new OB660 travel bass, and it's quite impressive! As a left handed player, I have to ask, how difficult would it be to make a left hand model, and if it's possible, would you need a minimum run to produce a lefty?

I am a member of www.leftybassist.com, and we are always looking for companies that can produce left handed guitars and basses, I'm sure the guys on the forum would welcome the ability to purchase a travel bass or guitar from your company!

Living here in Hawaii, your carbon fiber body would be ideal to combat the effects of humidity!

I look forward to your good, or bad news!

Aloha,
Ian Chames
