Some of you will remember this bass from an Ebay auction, yes i've got it and refinished in Vyper Red, same color used on the Dodge Vyper. My friend has a body shop and painted it for me for free, i did most of the sanding and prepping and he did the priming and painting. It still needs a fini polishing but i couldn't wait!

That looks great Paulo. That finish compliments the bass nicely. I also was going to bid on it to do a refinish on. Glad someone here got it. Do you know what electronics are in that bass?

That looks awesome. They should add Viper Red to the R/T series.
The matte black bridge and rosewood board make the red jump out.

This is my first G&L bass so i am not familiar at all with the electronics but Yolly111 said it is the exact same electronics as the L2000.

And I hope I am right! My understanding is that only the body changes vs a L-2000, electronics and pups should be the same.

LOVE the red finish, nice work!
