Brian's Big Bass Blowout!

Post by bhunt1 »

I got a new job and I'm moving (again), so I need to move some basses pronto. As the car ads say, I'm stacking' 'em deep and selling' 'em cheap! All prices are plus shipping. Please note I can only ship on Saturdays; where I live now is very rural with no nearby UPS store.

Up first, the classic 1996 Fender Precision USA. I bought this NOS a couple of years ago, it's in perfect shape. This will ship in a generic Fender style Tolex hardshell case. Brian's blowout price - $600 plus shipping.
Here are the pics:

Next up, 2006 USA G&L L2000. This beauty's got some upgrades: ebony board, matching painted headstock. Alder body with 3 tone burst finish. Pristine condition. Will ship in a generic Gator plastic hardshell case. Brian's blowout price - $500 plus shipping - yes that's right a USA L2K for $500 plus shipping. Pics:

Next, a custom made jazz bass, made by luthier Dan Ransom in 2004. Claro Walnut top, alder body, birdseye maple board, 35" scale, 3 band active Aguilar pre-amp, jazz pickups. Sounds and plays great, but rather unknown builder, so Brian's blowout price - $300 plus shipping!!! Ships in a gig bag. Pics:

Brian saved the best for last: Roscoe Century Standard Plus 5 string. Purchased new last year, mahogany body, cocobolo top just they Stanley likes it, birdseye board, Bart Classic Bass pickups, Roscoe hardshell case. Over $3,000 new, Brian's blowout price - $1,200 plus shipping. No that can't be right, he must have typed it wrong, yes it really is $1,200 plus shipping. Pics:

Can I make it with one kidney?....

Well, I just ordered a L2000 Empress otherwise I would be all over the one offered here.

The ebony option alone is $200.00 and the matching headstock $150.00...

You pay $150.00 for the rest of the bass...

This bass is a steal and somebody should grab it fast, phenomenal instrument!

Brian, PB size neck, correct?

OK I have one more for the blowout.
First up, a 1980 Musicman Sabre. It does have an electronic issue so I am going to discount it accordingly. It is eating batteries. It was repaired by my local music shop when I got it - it had a wireless transmitter installed, which is why it has 2 extra switches. The extra switches are now nonfunctional. When I got it back from the shop, it worked perfectly. Now it is killing the batteries. I imagine it could be fixed easily, but I need to move stuff now, so I will sell this rare pre-EB bass for the blowout price of $500 plus shipping. Comes with the original beat up hardshell cases - kinda falling apart but all there. Here are pics:
