What's a Phantom Nigel Special bass, Ronn? Would love to see pix of that and the Bil Wyman hollowbody please.

And not to hijack your thread, but I just read that Korg and Phantom are in legal battles over the rights to the Teardrop and Phantom body styles. The story is posted on the home page of Phantom:

Right, forgot I had it listed by that name, it's a one-off Phantom that Jack did for me years ago. It has 3 pickups, a 6-way rotary pickup selector, and the logo is upside-down on the headstock. Cream color.
It's since been f-ed with by me, I've stolen a couple tuners, and I cut a hole in thru the back of the body to move the output jack which was in my arm's way. Shaped gig bag.
It wouldn't take much to revive it, make an offer.

I've seen people claim anywhere from 3 to 6 in existence, either way you're a lucky guy.
I've also seen people say that Rickenbacker itself isn't keen on answering emails looking for a definitive answer. We may never know, really.

Scott Jennings, a major lefty guitar dealer who's buds with John Hall says he got to look over the records for limited edition lefties and according to him there were 3. He knows his stuff so I go with that.

Ah, very cool. That is definitely the most reputable source I've heard from so I guess that answers that.

Do you have any pics of the SX short-scale? Are there any problems with it?

Thanks!

How much you asking for the Pisces Ron? (what color was it, I can't remember?)
