Keith Horn plays that way and just blows my mind totally just to see photos of a bass set up like that .

I recall we once estimated that about a third of the members of this forum play that way.

yet another one...lol
I really like that beautiful jam. looks so normal going up the strings and up the neck rather than down the strings and up the neck
but funky? naw.
this funky motown song was redone probably 1000 different ways?.... this is version # 1001 inverted style.

Are any of you guys going to contact the poster? His University is in New Zealand. I'd be interested in hearing any feedback.

Yeah, I contacted him. We're supposed to do an interview over Skype this evening. I'm curious to hear more about his background and reasoning for choosing this topic for his dissertation.
I'll post an update afterward.

You know, there seems to be quite a few of us freaks around here.
I suppose most of you, like I, have come up with "interesting" techniques to try and accomplish what our normally-strung brethren have done, or possibly ventured off into our own little thing. Is there any interest in starting another thread to share tips/tricks/techniques for us inverted-lefties? I'd be happy to contribute whatever I can.
