Franken-Fretless $250

Its name is Barney (nickname given by my friend Gravebass in reference to the sparkling purple body) - I have tried and tried but fretless is just not my thing and poor Barney has not seen much of the day light over the years. Those Bart pickups are perfect on a fretless. Make me a reasonable offer, who knows what I'll say if I happen to be in a good mood that day...

Here we go:
Neck from a 1992 Japanese '62 reissue Jazz (straight as an arrow as it should be on a fretless)
Body: Old Indonesia made Squier (Agathis) - On the heavy side
Pickups: Bartolinis
Bridge: Shaller

$250 + shipping

This is easily the best left-handed purple fretless bass on my local Craigslist. Good luck with the sale!

Last chance before I disassemble it and sell it for parts (this pickup set alone cost $200 new)
$200 for this great sounding fretless, anyone?

Dang you! You know, if I wasn't making my own fretless as we speak, I would be your man at $200 all day long.

Are you moving or something?

Exactly 10 lbs
Folks, decide quickly if you want it as I will put the parts for sale on ebay starting tomorrow. I was just playing it during my lunch thinking how of a badass sounding bass it is. Those pickups are what you find on Pedulla nbasses. I bought them for a different project in the mid nineties. The Schaller bridge is better than a Badass IMO as it does not bring any harsh frequencies and you can adjust the string spacing. Gravesbass tried Barney and can concur. I just don't need to move with 16 basses, guitars, mandolins, banjo, dobros so Barney has to go.

I must see Barney one more time before she's gone and sold. I'll get a hold of you Frenchy. Don't want to buy but want to see it/play it one last time.

I am glad you like Barney! Those Barts on a fretless are so lively, aren't they?
Since it is the bass featured on my avatar, I'll have to change picture...
