This is a very recent StingRay 5, bought just a few months ago from Bass Central. I've been playing it regularly since I bought it, but it really looks like new. No scratches and virtually no signs of wear. Amazing fret job and super low action.

This is a very special bass because it is extremely light weight for a StingRay, it's between 8.5 and 9 lb. Very alive and resonant. I've had quite a few StingRay 5s and this one takes the crown.

I got $1700, and don't want to give it away. I'll sell it for $1575 plus shipping. Shipping will be between $35 and $55 in continental USA, depending on location. International buyer are welcomed. Just contact me for a shipping quote.

I know StingRays can be had for $1000 to $1200 used, but this being virtually brand new, and being so rare because of it's light weight, I don't want to let it go for less.

Don't do it Carlos. You'll eventually want another SR5 and you won't find another this light.

Thanks for the advice, Andrew; you probably are 100% right, but when I get the bug to shuffle things around, it's hard to stop, and the newest bass usually is the one that goes first.

I'm putting this guy on eBay, which means I'll be hit with a fee and I'll have to lower the price. If anybody is interested at all, let me know and we can work out a price.
