I'm the guy on the left, although I look slightly different now (slightly older and wiser ). And no more goatee but a proper beard, be it a short one. They're both Longbow Basses, the one on the right is a righty 30" version that I owned for a while. The left one is a proper lefty with 32" scale that I ordered brand new when Longbow briefly went back in business. I then sold the shortscale version to the guy on the right - whose other bass he brought along that day, ironically, was a fretless EIGHTstring

My Twins… The 5 string now has White pups.

What constitutes "twins" exactly? I've got two Fender Jazz Basses of similar make and vintage (early 2000s MIM) and am building a non-Fender J from scratch as we speak. The two existing "twins" have distinctly different finishes, though. Does that count?

They don't have to be identical twins.

Twin L1000s:

both have mahogany bodies with tobacco burst finishes, and ebony fingerboards

Meet my twins:Two MIMs from the 2000s.

You might as well meet the family while we're at it:My original bass from when I first started (circa 1996), which is a cheapo Lotus brand (Fender knockoff) on the left; the twins on the right.

The Studio:Still kind of a work in progress. The basses are on the left, then panning through the studio you'll see where I have one of my workstations (soon to be where I make music, if life ever allows it), and then on to the Zeppelin LPs, and then finally the classic Jimi photo at the rightmost of the image.

My two identical 1972 skinny Js. (Right down to the Badass bridge replacement too!). The one on the left is "Link" (named after the cool dude from 70's TV show, The Mod Squad, 'cause I always imagined the original owner of this bass to be some slappin' badass mofo like Link ), and was my first real bass that I purchased back in '84. It took me over 20 years to find an identical one on the right. (No name yet. How about Peggie Lipton?). Link's got a set of 15? year old D'Addario Chromes on him and the other one's got a fresh set of Elixirs.

Love my Tokai TBirds, i would not mind to have triplets...

Awesome! Those old G&Ls are definitely on my bucket list.

It's a MIM FSR. It has a great tone I just don't care for natural finish basses so I had a local guy who does great work for little $$ refinish it in Sonic Blue. I swapped out the tort guard for a WBW one and added the ashtrays.
