I put a mint green guard (from WD) on it. The white one was horrendous.

WOW! :shock: Awesome Matt! For those of us who are trying not to drool on their keyboards, can you please give a quick overview of each jazz bass?
In the topsy-turvy world of heavy rock, having a good solid piece of wood in your hand is often useful...

From left to right: Late 80s 62RI; 2012 Jazz (obviously); my recently purchased '78 Jazz; '74 Jazz; and another 62 RI fretless.
