Odd Ebay listing...

Post by Matt R. »

http://cgi.ebay.com/Fender-American-Sta ... dZViewItem

This is my American Standard P Bass I sold in August. It was in great condition (hell practically brand new) and still appears to be, but for some reason the seller is lying about it. He's saying he doesn't know what year it is and that he has owned it a year, when he won the auction on August 1st. The bass itself isn't even a year old...

Here's my original Ebay listing for it:

When I sold it the transaction went without a hitch, but since the guy is lying in this listing, I thought I'd give a heads up in case any of you guys ran across this.

It looks like he's revised his description. Wondering why he's letting it go for what he paid, unless he just didn't care for it.

Did you have any issues with it playing/tonally, Matt?

No, the the bass was amazing. I simply needed the money so I had to sacrifice it. I upgraded it with 70s reissue tuners as well.
