Here are my pair of G&L L1000s, same finish, same woods, fretted and fretless:
Body Shots:
Headstocks Fretless then Fretted:
Cool figuring on ebony:
Biggest difference is I can use roundwounds on the fretted. I took it to practice last Friday and it had more zing. The fretless brings the thunder though - thinking I will stick with that for performances. The fretted has more playwear, which is cool. Fretted is noticably heavier - both have mahogany bodies. Love 'em both.
