Sadowsky PJ4 and Nordstrand vM5

I'm selling two gems here 'cause I need to make some room and space, so grab your chance to own one of these without the wait time and new-price.

Sadowsky Vintage PJ4 Left Handed

This bass is only one and a half year old and it's in immaculate condition. It has quite a few expensive options:

- Left handed, of course.
- Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, which isn't an option anymore for us Europeans, so here's your chance to own a bass with this magic tone wood.
- Abalone dot inlays.
- Vintage style instrument.
- Matching headstock.
- Custom yellow logo.

Other specifications:

- ash body
- 1.5" nut width (jazz bass width)
- 9" radius
- 20 frets
- reverse headstock

- 1-ply parchment pickguard
- custom green metallic color
- Schaller straplocks pre-installed
- Vol-vol-tone-EQ configuration
- 8.30 lbs

- string spacing is 19mm, but you can make that 20mm if you want. You'd have to contact Sadowsky to buy a new bridge for that, though.

If you'd order the exact same bass now, it would cost you approx $5000, and that's without shipping and taxes, which adds another $500, so $5500 (or 4250 EUR) in total. I'm letting this one go for 3500 EUR. We'll split the shipping costs within the EU for that price.

Nordstrand Nordy vP5 (vM5)

This beast is basically a vM5 in a vP5 body. This bass is under a year old and it's in immaculate condition. It has a few upgrades:

- Satin finished neck.
- Matching headstock.
- Madagascar rosewood fingerboard.
- 2B-MM preamp (vol, bass, treble, like a vintage MM)

Of course it's left handed. Further more:

- 1.81" nut width
- compound radius (9"-14")
- black hardware
- Schaller straplocks installed
- 7.95 lbs
- 19mm string spacing
- yellow!

If you'd buy this bass right now, it'd set you back $4050. $500 shipping and taxes make that a grand total of $4550 or a little over 3500 EUR. I'm letting it go for 2750 EUR. We'll split the shipping costs within the EU for that price.

Forumites deal: 1400 euro for the Nordy. It's actually a steal and quite a bit less than half the price if you'd buy it new. I'll throw in a gig bag of your choice as well (Protec or Sadowsky Portabag). Shipping within Europe isn't as expensive as you might think. Also shipping to the States with the regular postal service is quite cheap.

Little update: I'm thinking of putting the Sadowsky PJ4 back up for sale. So if anyone's interested: shoot me a PM and maybe we'll work out something, but no trades at the moment. I'm looking around 3000 euro (price new would be 4250 euro (including shipping, taxes to Europe)).

For US guys:

1) I know it's probably not a great deal, but it would save you 8-12 months waiting time and it would still save you around $1000.
2) I'm also traveling to NYC in the beginning of April '13. If you're interested, I could take the Sad or the Nordy to NYC and ship it there. It would save you a couple of hundred dollars of shipping costs.
