Modulus Genesis 5 string

Post by bhunt1 »

Hi guys,
I got this on ebay a while back, and while it is a nice sounding bass, it is too heavy for me. I don't have an accurate scale, but it's at least 10 lbs. I have another 5 string on order (hopefully lighter) so this one needs to move on. It has a quilt top with greenburst finish, maple board, Bartolini single coils, active electronics, 19 mm spacing and 35" scale. The neck is a laminate of wood and graphite. The strings it will come with are DR Sunbeams, not much playing time. It does have one chip in the clearcoat on the lower horn, other than that it's in really good shape. It comes with a generic hardshell case. I paid $1,200 plus shipping, I will sell it for $1,000 plus shipping. Send me a PM if interested. I take Paypal. Thanks for looking.

PM'd 8-)
Sometimes I think, maybe I'm lucky I'm left handed. If I could play any bass I wanted, my collection would REALLY be out of control.

Congrats Jaceofbass! You will NOT be disappointed. I love my Genesis- I had never even heard of it, then I ran across one and bought on a whim, now it's one of my fave basses. Mine is wicked HOT- a little knob turn goes a loooong way. Enjoy!

Thanks!

I'm mostly a 4 string guy but I use a fiver when I'm doing some reading/orchestra type gigs. If this bass sounds and plays as well as everyone's told me, I'll probably sell my Stingray 5. Only room for one fiver in my arsenal, but it might as well be a sweet one!
