Well, almost. Some of you saw the cheap unfinished MIM Jazz I scored in this thread:

http://www.leftybassist.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3411

Well, immediately after I bought that, this sage green MIM body popped up so I snagged it, so I threw the neck I had on that body, installed concentric controls, Fender 'Original" Jazz Pickups, a vintage style threaded bridge, and Hipshot tuners that are direct replacements for the MIM tuners. The guard is from WD and is mint green which looks bad ass on the sage green body. The neck plays so, so good. I also sprayed some gloss on the front of the headstock and sanded/polished. Not a fan of dead looking satin finishes. The nut needs to be replaced. The slots are a bit low. Otherwise, this thing plays great 8-)

The unfinished body will end up with a shell pink finish when I get around to that, by the way.

Really impressive, Matt. You're quite the do-it-yourselfer, aren't you? Just curious, how many basses are in your collection?

Stargazer plays great and the build quality is off the hook. Highly recommended.
