Fretless Musicman

Post by baronvonballad »

Afternoon

I need a little advice I've got a 1999 Sunburst Fretless (unlined) Stingray. Which I'm potentially looking to sell, it probably only comes out of it's case once every 3-4 years if that, never been gigged of even left the house (I've had it since 1999). It's a stab in the dark especially as I'm not posting any photos but on the basis it's in immaculate condition as new. Has anyone got a rough idea or guide to the worth of this bass. I've been having a look around and I can't find anything anywhere to give me a guide.

Appreciate any feedback even with the very info I've provided.

Thanks

I checked USA eBay and used 4-string Stingrays in good condition seem to sell in the $800-$1000 range...

The fact that it's a lefty unlined fretless will make it harder for you to find a buyer, and, unfortunately, the market for used lefties is pretty dismal right now... so it might be difficult for you to get what you think it's worth.

Good luck!
