* OUCH *

Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL bass.

But... that's close to $4000 USD to the USA after shipping.

:(

Good luck with the sale!

What a beautiful bass! And, holy smoke, you can slap, man! What a rhythm! I'm calling you Funky Frankfurt from now on. . .

This reminds me why P-Basses are so freaking incredible. I've been doing a lot of recording lately, and can't seem to find a better bass than a P-Bass for recording. I enjoy playing Jazz basses and everything else, but I really love how I sound using a P-Bass.

Yeah, killer video! Love the double thumb technique... I've been working on that myself lately. :ugeek:

Even if you paid all of the shipping, your price on the bass alone would be about $3,550 USD according to today's exchange rate.

I bought my seafoam green Fender Custom Shop '64 Jazz NOS in used but in absolutely mint condition for about $1000 USD less than that with shipping included. And that was before the used market got REALLY bad.

I recently sold a mint one-of-a-kind Fender Custom Shop '60 Jazz Relic... also for about $1,000 USD less than your asking price.

And, finally... an unused "Masterbuilt" Custom Shop Marcus Miller just sold on eBay for only $2550 USD.

I mean no disrespect... at all... it's your bass, and you can sell it for whatever you want to sell it for. It's beautiful, and I'm sure it's worth every penny that you're asking for it... but, you can ask anyone here... the used market is really, REALLY rough right now... especially in the USA. I'm not sure what things are like across the pond... but you will probably have a tough time moving it over here at that price.

So... like I said... no disrespect intended... just a word of friendly advice from someone who has had a terrible time selling ANYTHING lately, for what it is worth.

Good luck!!! I truly hope you can find someone in your area who would be lucky enough to have it.

:)

With the predicted fall of the Dollar as a currency,it'll get worse. His price is in line with European prices for those instruments. Fender instruments are always much cheaper here. I recall that 25 years ago American Fenders were already around $1,000 in Europe when it was about $750 here.

I kind of figured that... I wasn't 100% sure, so I appreciate the clarification. That's why I made sure I was careful about what I said in my post.

I guess the fact that we can't afford to buy any basses from overseas is payback for the fact that we never want to ship over there.

Nice bass - good luck on the sale!

If that's how much used Fender CS's go in Europe... I think I just found any easy way to finance my trip there. :)

Yes AFAIK 2500 EU is a right price for a Lefty CS here in EU.

Hey Jules i'm just curious to know why you want to sell this great piece of wood ... from the YT video you seem well coupled with it !!

ok , I just found a sound on that Bass that really made me jump - I've put my LaBella Flats on it PLUS a piece of foam under the strings and now the Bass has a big R&B tone :)

I'm turning the "Sale" status more to a "Feeler" status now ;) :)
