Hey guys, it's been awhile... Here's a sweet shortscale bass for sale in my 'hood, I'd snatch it up if I had the extra cash as a backup for mine - or at least to switch the tuners I'm still having trouble with!!! So, check it out!!! If you're interested & live far enough to not be able to check it out in person, I'd be willing to take a look at it for you. If anyone happens to buy this for parts (shame, but...), PLMK! I want the tuners!!! Nicely refin'd in Dakota Red.

Awesome, I would have loved to have this but 1650 seems like a lot of money for a refinished bass, even though it's rare.
I played a lefty Competition Mustang a year ago and loved it! The ballsy, throaty Precision growl but with the playability and 'plonk' of a shortscale. Brilliant little basses!

I think the price is fair given the rarity, but I did get mine (69, all original) for a little less. But that was the deal of the century imo!!! Love my unicorn. That's sweet you've played one before! =) What year & color competition was it?
