Where she been all my life

Well I have been a Warwick player for the past 15 years and never had or even played a Thumb NT 5 string. This is a 1995 and much different than current models. This came up on eBay and was up for about 12 minutes and I did a buy it now (Thanks Addison, my wife hates you). Nice shape for her age (bass and my wife). Thursday 5/7 it will be in my hands...Seems to be from an excellent seller so my fingers are crossed but I think it's going to rule.

Now I realize I'm deep in Fender country around here and this oddity will not trip most triggers. It's ugly to start off with; it's over 11 Lbs close to 11.5 Lb...There are the neck dive issues, requires waxing etc...But the tone of one of these bad boys properly amplified with brand new Warwick Black label strings full on will make me weep like a little girl who lost her puppy.

It's like a birth defect in me but I am hopelessly in love with her even though currently it's just an internet relationship. We both love huge speaker cabinets. We both love Warwick tubepath 10.1 heads and Mesa M9 carbines. We both love steel strings and playing loud enough to send some to the hospital. I think we might get married right away!!

After a steamy night together I'll post some better pics.... ;)

Beautiful bass these are on my GAS list. But would need to sell too many of my basses to appease the wife.
