Lightwave Basses

Post by pjmuck »

I just received an e-mail from Christopher Willcox at Lightwave Systems (makers of the patented infrared optical pickup system), and lefties are now available through their custom shop. Standard production models are not available yet, pending further demand from us (well what are you waiting for?). More info:

Ed Friedland has done a few reviews of these basses:

I have no idea how much a custom Lightwave would cost, but considering their lowest priced production model is the Saber SL and runs about $1050.00, I'm guessing these will be in the high $2000-$3000+ range. He DID say, however, that a righty could be restrung lefty without a problem.

These look really AWESOME. I wish they offered the 1,000$ model. I would probably buy one
