Congrats! They look awesome. Was this the one that was recently listed on ebay?:

I've been curious about these basses for a while. Please give us a review. Where are they made?
I think they look stunning, but I wasn't all that impressed with the sound/video samples that St. Blues had demoing the bass. Sounded kind of thin and honky (and you can clearly hear bad 60 cycle hum). I'm hoping it's just a bad demo:

oh yes very pretty and a clear disadvantage once again for lefty's:
Q: hi , can you order any more lefty bases?
A: Yes you can. But the only color we have is the Honey Sunburst, but we only have a few left.

Yes that's the one. They had it for $600 on ebay, and even a higher price on their website, offered $500 and they went for it. Been looking at those for awhile. Made in Korea. Sounds good and punchy, J p/u is a bit weak on its own but I never use that setting anyway so no biggie for me. And it has hum with the J soloed but every P/J I own is the same way. Well bulit, tight neck joint, one-piece neck w/skunk stripe, 2-way bridge, flat neck, good tuners, "normal" weight. Rehearsed last night, sounded great. Got a really big show this weekend, that'll be the real test. GREAT gigbag, best I've ever seen.

Ehh..at least it's not a standard sunburst, or black, which are our usual choices. I dig the finish, it's very pretty. My wife loves it too so I got zero flack about yet another bass.

Cool bass. Looks a hell of a lot better than their guitars, I really don't like their bodyshape!

Not sure if I love the binding or I hate it.
Is the neck P or J width?

I love the factory pics compared to yours Austin....
I forgot to ask, since I know you are IamTheBassman on TB...how come you have a different name here?
and I'm wishing I was your friend and neighbor, cause MAN, there's some cool basses you have that I could just pick up and jam on inverted like that ...

Yeah, I'm no photographer!

Why a different name? I have no idea, maybe I was tired of the old one, having had it so long, was my email for years.

Lousy pic from the show but it's all I got.

Bass played great, very balanced output string to string, not as much high-end as my other P/Js but not a problem as I usually play with the Tone rolled off anyway. Very solid, I dig it.

Something else I noticed, the specs say a 2-piece ash body but I can't see any seam, looks to be 1-piece to me.
