New Album With Bo Bice Coming Out May 18

Sorry if this is the wrong forum since I don't have clips or anything, but I digress...
Bo Bice's new record titled "3" is coming out on May 18. I played bass on six tracks. The remaining tracks feature Robert Kearns (the current bassist for Lynyrd Skynyrd), and were recorded last year before I was in the road band.
It has elements of country, southern rock and funk on it so it's a fairly eclectic record.
It's up for preorder on Amazon:

Anyway, I'm really proud of it so I wanted to plug it.

Nice one!
I'd love to hear some of this - Amazon doesn't have its usual music preview software up for this album. Can we hear the songs anywhere else before it comes out?

Thanks guys
As far as I know, there aren't any samples to preview out there yet. But I'd assume that'll change when it's released of course.

Oh yeah, and since we're all gear whores here, I'd be remiss to not mention what I recorded my tracks with...
On 5 tracks I used my all original 1974 Fender Jazz:
And on one track I played fretless. My MIJ Fender Jazz with Antiquity II pickups and epoxied Warmoth neck:
All run direct.

Cool! Love that Jazz.
what did you go direct into and was any processing or dynamics used on your tracks? I'll assume the 2-bus master had some kind of synamics processing applied

Actually I have no idea. I'm an idiot when it comes to recording. I just wrote the charts and did my thang.

Ya know, that's probably a good thing. I sometimes think my quest for the perfect tone/recording chain gets in the way of my playing.

Yeah, I left that shit to the producer and engineer
I'm quite pleased with the results.

Big-time congratulations Matt!! I think producers and engineers are usually MUCH happier to see a vintage Fender than some boutique 9-string spank-master! (whatever that means)

Ha thanks man. That old Jazz tracks extremely well. It's bizarre how thunderous it is even when it's not plugged in. You can tap on the body and hear the resonance. It's a real special instrument. It's heavy, so I'm betting it's an ash body underneath that heavy Olympic White finish.

Thanks man. The mini rig is an Acoustic 260. Here's a thread with my review in there somewhere:

Good job, Matt.... Looking forward to hearing some of it. Who did your epoxy job on the fretless? Was it a factory Warmoth job?

I did the epoxy job myself and it turned out pretty damn nice, surprisingly enough. Not fun though. And as for hearing some of the record, here's a promo vid for it:

I'm on 6 tracks: Different Shades of Blue, Lonely Broke and Wasted, Who Knows What, You Take Yourself With You, Wild Roses, and Keep On Rollin. I think you can preview clips of all of them on Amazon.
