Just got this baby back from the shop today. Didn't trust myself doing some of the work soi took it to a local guy with a good rep. Mahogany body from bhefner.com, 57 reissue neck, fralin pickups, 500k pots and orange drop cap. From wymoreguitars.com. Had to cheap out on the bridge due to funds but I shall be swapping it before too long. Thanks to matt for the neck and rodent for helping me realize I shouldn't do this on my own. Lemme know your thoughts.

Haha I've already been eyeballing some bodies and necks going real cheap on eBay. Gonna be doing some touring starting after thanksgiving so I don't think time will allow it but I don't think I will go any other route from now on unless I see a deal I can't pass up. I can see why you do what you do, rodent. Now if only I can get the talent to finishmy own projects

Wow, great looking bass! Especially like the color, and the pearloid pick guard looks awesome against the paint. What is the color called... looks like butterscotch to me!

The pic really doesn't do the color justice. I need to get some in the sun shots of her. It's really a creamy dreamsicle orange. Funny thing is, the builder actually took a dreamsicle Popsicle to his painter to get the color right.

wow that is sharp! Most of my bass came from Warmoth. They aren't cheap but they do top-notch work, and the variety of woods and paints they have is downright ridiculous.
