I absolutely loathe that, I don't care that McCartney's was that way.

I have seen only 2 true left handed necked Ricks in my lifetime, so that righty neck looks "normal" to me.

Yep, I don't think they were offered on the 4001.
Nowadays you can get them on the 4003 and I've seen plenty of them done that way. However, they still have righthanded fretboards on them! And this is the reason I will never own a new Ric. I really do not want to pay top dollar to Mr. Hall and then wait a a year or more for an instrument that is not totally lefthanded, frankly I find it insulting.
I have always wanted a Ric, and I hope to have one someday, I'll just have to save up my money and be ready to lay it down when the chance finally comes.
