I am selling my G&L JB-5 but don't know what price to ask

I'm getting ready to put this on sale, and because of damage to it, I am just not sure how much to ask. My Les Paul fell on it, and while there was no harm to the LP, it knocked out a chunk of the wood. I made a little design that made me happy but probably won't be everyone's taste.
I paid around $2,200 for it. What is a price that would be fair to me and a buyer? It's a wonderful bass, but I've got such bad arthritis that it hurts me to play it.
I'm going to be selling other stuff too, but this one is a poser for me.
