Thanks, man! That’s a player, for sure.fideidefensor wrote:https://reverb.com/item/80304510?utm_so ... t=80304510
Warwick Covette $$ LH - natural - tad expensive imo! Picked up one recently though secondhand and holy shit I love the sound of it .
Thanks! I did see that one. It just looks a little beat up. There was another on Guitar Center that had some gouges in the finish near the pickups. I went to call them about it the next morning, but it was gone.bob__johnson wrote:Buried in GC, so YMMV:

What do you think a fair price would be for one in good shape? These things run over three grand new here in the US, which I really can't justify at the moment. There is one in the Netherlands for €1000, which I would have already bought, but the seller does not offer shipping.fideidefensor wrote:Warwick Covette $$ LH - natural - tad expensive imo! Yeah, that would be idea, but they seem very rare. Supposedly they used Wenge starting in 2012 or 2013, but that was apparently pretty short-lived because even the 2018-ish models I have seen have Ovangkol. *shrug*tim wrote:Every time one pops up on Reverb or eBay, I check for a wenge neck, which is the only thing I'd change about it (I loved the wenge neck on the Fortress that went back and forth between Paulo and me a couple times).
I paid 850 euros for mine. It's a 2009 one with an Ovangkol neck (but the neck is really nice, on par with the '95 Fortress One I own that has a wenge neck). In really good condition.superheavydeathmetal wrote:What do you think a fair price would be for one in good shape? That's the one. I created an account to message the seller, but I am unable to log in.fideidefensor wrote:Regarding the dude who's selling the bass: ask him if he'd be willing to ship via courier (I've used FedEx via parcelparcel in the past and it was both cheap, fast and secure).
You mean this bass I think: https://link.marktplaats.nl/m2130993152 ... ialbuttons
I'd prefer a Wenge neck, too. But, if this thing here were to pop up in a lefty, I'd snatch it up in a second, Wenge or not:tim wrote:Every time one pops up on Reverb or eBay, I check for a wenge neck, which is the only thing I'd change about it (I loved the wenge neck on the Fortress that went back and forth between Paulo and me a couple times).
