NEED MOAR STRINGS!!

Need even more neck bolts.

In all seriousness, it’s a beautiful instrument and I applaud anyone with the talent to play it. Certainly, it is far beyond my skill level.

This one was built for Yves Carbonne, who has a signature model with Jerzy Drozd (and formerly with Noguera).

It looks like it's an eleven string.

Ha! Good observation! It looks like the very highest string is missing.

It's so wide it needs a damn crosswalk to play walking bass on it.

I bet you could use many a "yo momma" joke to describe this bass ;)

The missing string so you can see the built-in ruler better. I wonder how accurate it is ? ;)

To each his own, and Yves knew what he wanted, but that subsonic low-end going down to Hell-# just doesn't do anything for me... I suppose I'd have to hear how it works in a composed piece, to see how clear it might be, and what it would lend to composition...
