78 P bass.

Post by tomdbass »

Putting this up for sale. 78 P bass, excellent condition with original case (which is not in excellent condition)
With the exception of the pickups and pots, the bass is all original. The pots are CTS and the pups are Fender 70’s Custom shop.
Bass has been recently set up and gone over. Minimal fret wear, truss rod works perfectly.
Cosmetically there is quite a bit of checking in the body finish and headstock finish and the fingerboard has a nice glossy “finger polish” to it from years of use.
I’m posting a few pics to get this listing up but will be either posting additional pics with more details or I can send pics to anyone who’s seriously interested.
$2300 plus shipping. Some “wiggle” room is included, but not much.
Thanks

Great looking bass, many of the 70's Fenders are Maple Necks, great vibe from this bass

In and around 10lbs. Your typical 70’s P bass.

As a few people have asked, I am posting the lowest price that I can take for the bass.
$2100 plus shipping.
Sorry but I can’t go any lower than that.
