Hi guys,

I’m selling my old bread winner.

It’s probably a 2001. I ordered it custom back then, but I can’t recall what year specifically. I’d prefer not to remove the neck to check the date if I don’t have to.

It’s in excellent playing condition and shows appropriate wear for a bass its age. Notable features, additions, wear:

Alder/Rosewood, 2 tone Tobacco Burst
Hipshot drop D tuner
Copper foil shielding professionally installed.
9lbs 4 oz give or take an ounce.
#6 neck (1 1/2” width, 7.5” vintage radius)
Some micro pitting and hazing of the chrome parts.
Light finish haze in spots from micro scratches, a couple tiny dings
Some long scratches on the back from a sharp edge belt buckle, just to the base coat.
Light buckle rash.
The bridge screws on the top 3 strings are not the originals, they’re longer. I found that with the strings I was using, I need the extra length. The E string has the original screw but not spring. Original saddles and screws can be purchased from G&L, if desired.
Tweed case included.
Straight neck and capable of low action setup.

$650 plus shipping to the lower 48. I'm located near Boston, MA.

I can provide hi-res photos on request. The 125kb file size on the site is pretty limiting resolution-wise. Maybe because I was posting from my phone and a mobile browser?
