Very nice and pretty rare, but that price is steep! I think these were around 900 USD new if you could fine one, excluding shipping?

Edit: Just switched the site to USD and it looks a lot better now.

It’s a tad steep but I’ve seen them go that high or close. Hope it’s worth it!

I wonder the same thing. Drastically different I’m sure, the Sire being active and all. This Jazz is just basically a passive 60s RI with a 5th string added, which is what I’ve been wanting for years. The Sire is still at least a couple months away from shipping so maybe I’ll keep it too.

Impulsive as in buying a bass I didn't even know I wanted before I saw it, but once I did, I had to have it for some damn reason. The only bass I've had longer is my L-2000.
