Crap, I posted this in the wrong forum.
Apologies! I have no affiliation with the seller.

I have been around for along time collecting and buying Fender Japan and US basses and have never seen a 30" scale version. The body is even smaller.
Seller is new on talk bass but someone here should take the plunge.

I am very curious if this is real. Looks real but......

"Never" is a long time.
Less than two months, though.

These were dubbed "Smart Size" basses and if it wasn't in..... Norway? I'd be all over it.
They are real.

They are newer production but the headstock logo on them looks different than this one. This was looks perhaps changed to look like the old Japan logo but there's no record I can find of them being produced "back in the day" only 2012, 2014 etc so that's what I have to go on. I think it's a newer model with a changed logo but I could be wrong.

I purchased this bass. It showed up slightly damaged due to customs cutting it open and not repacking it PROPERLY AT ALL!
I was so hot I took it to a luthier to have it repaired straightaway. It was a finish chip/crack and the chips were in the bottom of the gig bag. I saved them so the repair should turn out quite nicely. I haven't got to try it out yet but when I do I will share my thoughts.
This is my first short scale so I'm not completely sure I will bond with it. If I do not I will offer it up on here for trade/sale.
Cheers

That blows! I hope it's repairable.
