The site did switch all my gold options back to silver for the basses I've saved to "My Designs," although on the little thumbnail image the hardware is still gold. Awfully pretty... oh well, I'm saving and can't order one now anyway. Glad to hear they're honoring your order though.

Interesting. This is the reply I got RE poly vs nitro:

Hey Matt,

Currently, all bodies will be finished with Urethane.

However, some of the necks will be finished in Nitro – mostly the Vintage style designated necks. Your bass will be Urethane Body with our Fender Flash Coat Nitro finish on the neck.

I believe we plan to offer Nitro on the bodies in the future though!

HEY GUYS,I ORDERED MY OLY WHITE JAZZ BASS,ROSEWOOD WITH BLOCKS,64PUPS,VINTAGE BRIDGE,WITH A GOLD GUARD AND ALL GOLD HARDWARE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON,LATER AT NIGHT I WAS SCREWING AROUND WITH DIFFERENT CONFIGES AND NOTICED THE OPTION FOR THE GOLD HARDWARE WAS GONE!!! I EMAILED MIKE,THE GUY WHO IS OVER SEEING THE ADE PROJECT AND WAS VERYY HAPPY WITH THE REPLY I RECEIVED!!!! MY SENT EMAIL IS AT THE BOTTOM AND HIS REPLY WAS AT THE TOP!!!! VERY PLEASED I MUST SAY!!!

That is very cool that Fender will not back out on the gold stipulation on your order.
