Bart P4 sized 6-string cover in Bloodwood. I'll confess, making covers from Bloodwood is not an encouraging activity thanks to its disposition to tear out with even the slightest opportunity. Currently over 50% of the covers started don't make it to the place where the rear side cavity is hollowed out. That's a lot of wasted time and materials

our new winder is working out nicely. she's attentive to details and has brought several solid improvements for streamlining the workflows in obtaining consistency from coil to coil for a given design.

L -> R: 5 sets of TFD single-coils, 10 sets of J4 split-coils, and 5 sets of J5 split-coils
that's a lot of time at the winder this week to get these ready for wiring up, assembly (splits), potting, and packing into retail packaging before shipping off to a couple builders and a reseller

Padauk cover on a Heavy Hitter 5-string set, ready for final sanding and an epoxy finish

just in case you think it's all fun and games here at the shop, this should prove that it's not
