Wow, that is stunning! I love Pelham Blue, it is the ultimate SG colour in my opinion

Re: NBD (It's Here!) - Refinished SG - Pelham Blue!!!
Hey Y'all,
As promised, here's a couple of photos of my Thunderbird and my SG side by side (on my organ keyboard....). They're like long lost cousins. (My apologies for my rather poor picture taking skills. I have a $1000 camera but I feel like I need to take a course to learn how to take great pics with it.
)

The SG plays like a dream and is super fast because of the short scale. The bridge had done wonders for the sustain and overall tone and the neck dive is non-existent now. I'm sure there is still the slightest amount of dive but it's imperceptible because of where I rest my left forearm on the body.
Woot!

Sometimes I think, maybe I'm lucky I'm left handed. If I could play any bass I wanted, my collection would REALLY be out of control.

Have you thought of refinishing that organ with the same finish?

Hmmm, that's an interesting idea. Although, at 400lbs, it might be tough for Bryan to hang it in his drying rack....AzWhoFan wrote:Have you thought of refinishing that organ with the same finish?

That picture is insane. It should be an album cover or Itunes download art or something.
