Good deal indeed. I paid 2k for mine (below) and I felt it was a steal at that price, especially after having it a few months- loved it more every day. $1700 for a practically new one is a rare opportunity indeed, not just for the price, but the bass. It's not a very common piece at all.

Wow, that's perty!!!

And thanks for the sales assistance... I've actually been playing it a little more here and there and tweaked the set-up a little bit more, and man... it is a really nice bass. I'll definitely have no problems keeping it if it can't sell, but this GAS for my "dream bass," whatever that might be, will not quit.

I just sent it over to Arni's site, and I will be listing it on eBay as well sometime next week... if this one sells, I'll most likely be listing my Lakland 55/94 after that, so everyone keep an eye out. It has a bit of mojo on the finish (used but loved), especially on the back, but nothing major... but the neck is PERFECT and it plays like a dream.

It played pretty well in my dream, FWIW.

Its a great bass at a great price and I AM looking for a fiver, but I'm a little spent right now: The depths of this downturn seem to know no bounds.

I don't need to sell this bass anymore, but I've decided to open the floor up for the right trade if anyone is interested.

I'm looking for a like-new SR5 with a maple fingerboard... black, natural, tobacco or vintage sunbursts preferred. I'll trade straight across if the deal is right.

Also looking for a decent 5 or 6-string fretless, but I'm willing to talk about anything.

The Modulus is awesome, and I'm not dying to get rid of it... but it's not filling any voids in my aresenal right now, so I'd like to get something a little different than what I already have.

Let me know!!!

And this bass is SOLD!!!

Holy crap, that took a long time.

Nobody on the board though... it ended up being a guy who spotted it on FleaBay and we were able to work out a deal outside of the network.

WHEW!!
