For those who doesn't now the bass, it's all mahogany with an Artec Alnico pickup. Those who have already bought the first run of righties are impressed of the quality of the instrument.
The price will not be the same as on their homepage, Roman from Bach told me: "That current price is the correct one but . . . .
I think if You are able to gather 20 guys and to vouch for taking of all basses
You can get a very similar price to the old one."
The old one was 160€

I'm still seriously considering this - almost decided. A question: does anyone know anything about the pick-ups? Who makes them, how they sound compared to an original Gibson T-Bird unit, are they noisy etc etc.

Agent; The pickups are Artec, Alnico5, dual rail. they're not bad, not an exact copy of the old Tbird pickup. They got the usual look and dimensions of a soapbar, if you rasp the corners a little they'll fit under the old Tbird chrome covers (like those for sale on the bay). The pickup itself has a metallic painted plastic cover.

You can have the tranny if you like..... I'm still waiting for more info from Roman, he's having a hard time fixing some drawings for a run of FenderBirds ordered by some of the guys of the first run of BachBirds....

Yes, I've heard of the Fenderbirds on the Dutch basgitaarforum. Very cool, maybe even cooler than the NR T-bird.

Yes, i finally got an answer, if you can call it that...It said: no news, we are waiting for parts for the basses, please be patient, thanks a lot........and please stop breaking my balls with your stupid questions... ) no, not the last part.....Anyway, they'll probably be able to give us a price when they have the hardware. That's good to hear. I'm fine with waiting as long as we are getting some updates and not being left in the dark about what's going on.
