This is the only bass ive been playing on for the last 9 years, its a modded MIM jazz and in all honesty up until I joined this forum (all you guys own some seriously beautiful stuff) Ive never wanted another bass, so i figured it was about time to show you guys my first love.

when i was 16 i wanted new pickups and coudnt afford them so i unwound the stock ones, bought some wire and wound them myself, completely stupid and ill never do it again but out of sheer luck they sound awsome

Very cool!
There's nothing wrong with having a "One and Only" in fact it usually is a sign of one who spends more time playing than oggeling gear. :D

i dont really have any means to record anything at the time being but ill call up some of my old band mates and see if i can get some bass tracks emailed to me and ill post them up
