Multiple trade options

Post by MCS4 »

Looking to thin and focus the herd a bit and I figured I'd try to see if someone here wants to make an interesting deal for one or more of these, plus or minus cash. Obviously for the most part I'm looking for trades that end up with myself having fewer instruments in total. Some interests include:

-Pedulla MVP or Buzz, 4 or 5 string (unlikely but I might as well try!)
-Possibly some other nice 5-string fretless
-Fretless 4 string jazz bass neck (neck only)
-Semi-hollow electric guitar (not bass)
-Small to medium modern tube guitar amp head or combo (20w-30w or so)
-Possibly some pedals

1. Kiesel Osiris 5 string bass. This is about as upgraded as a Kiesel gets: 6a flamed redwood top, custom finish, chambered swamp ash body, Darkglass pre, Nordstrand Big Rig pickups, three-piece neck, stainless steel frets, etc. Bought used from Chicago Music Exchange. This was my favorite 5er of all time when I bought it, and I loved it so much that I bought a second in a pastel purple finish in honor of my daughter. Unfortunately having two now feels redundant since I'm mainly a 4-stringer, and obviously I can't trade the "daughter bass." Won't be sad to keep it though!

2. Goldtone PBB resonator bass. 32" scale, all mahogany. Pretty cool way to get an average-ish volume ABG in a smaller and more playable packaged. Works great for pick playing in particular. The Goldtone hard case is super nice and plush too.

3. Carvin B4 lefty fretless. Quilted maple top, antique brown finish. Converted to fretless by a local luthier with a matte poly finish added to protect the maple board. The matte maple board and white fret lines gives it a cool vibe imo. Tuners recently swapped for Ultralites. I just play so little fretless that I'm thinking I'll try to get a fretless neck I can swap off and on my parts P bass instead, or possibly get a fretless 5er to serve as both fretless and backup 5er to reduce my overall number of basses.

4. Carvin CT3 electric guitar. Mahogany body and neck, birdseye maple board. Seymour Duncan Full Shred in bridge, Carvin CT22 in neck. Total workhorse, once again only including because I have two and am going to stick with the lighter one.
