Fender Precision Bass 1977 mint!
Re: Fender Precision Bass 1977 mint!
Really sweet! Serial number is 280 away from my Olympic White (now yellow) 77P. Wonder why its mint? In a way, that concerns me.
Re: Fender Precision Bass 1977 mint!
I wouldn't say it's mint, there's some finish wear on the back and some nicks and dents in the headstock, but it's in excellent condition for sure. And it probably weighs 11lbs. Those late 70's northern ash Fenders are known for being boat anchors.
If it has a B neck, it's a winner. My all time favorite P bass neck profile.

They list it as 36mm, so that's probably an A neckpjmuck wrote:I wouldn't say it's mint, there's some finish wear on the back and some nicks and dents in the headstock, but it's in excellent condition for sure. 4.45Kg - 9.8 lbs Not bad for late 70's. Price seems rich to me, but it's in Europe

Late 70s Fender basses are my favorite sounding out of all their years of manufacture. But the weight is a non-starter for playing.

I've got one for sale just like that.
Except mine is much lighter at 9 pounds even.
And much less $$$.
