4 headless basses for sale: XP2, XP2 (wh), XZ25, Status cust

Post by eobard »

Greetings!
Selling four of my lefthanded headless basses. I've realized I'm more of a collector than a player.

Buyer pays shipping $150. Just U.S. buyers, please!

Description:
Steinberger XP2 (black) - excellent condition, plays smoothly, Hohner pickups, low action $1500

Steinberger XP2 (white pg) - fair condition (chips, scratches, & buckle rash) plays well, pickups from a 5-string Hohner $750

Spirit XZ25 - 5-string bass, excellent condition, very rarely played (its hard playing w/ four strings, let alone five!), still has the plastic tape on pickups $400

Status Streamline "clone" - custom bass made entirely of graphite / carbon fiber, neck-thru, extremely lightweight. Has some issues: open notes buzz, Bartolini pots are scratchy. Please note that the bridge saddles were filed down to lower the action.
Extremely well-built, excellent craftsmanship, zero scratches. All pretty fixable issues; I just don't have time to address them. $1750

Some very nice, rare stuff there. Are those 2 XP2s lefty conversions? I've never seen a lefty XP2 before, and the pick guards look to be replaced (and no Steinberger logos present).

Hey PJ -

Thank you, and yes, the XP's are conversions; thank you for pointing that out!
Off topic, I think you bought a bass from me once in 2014 (I believe it was the XZ2), in Jersey City. Apologies if you're not!

Thanks for pointing out the lefty conversion. Does anyone know a way to edit the original post? I can't seem to find an "edit" button anywhere. Or do I need to make a totally new post?
