Seller says the bass "came with some homemade body ...that was a fine piece of wood but had been butchered ..by someone ......who had no idea"

From what I've seen these where often butchered by righty players who played them with reverse headstock.

Looks like the head stock is refinished & the decal isn't original. It's not under the finish and I don't believe it's the correct configuration.

3000 USD for a neck? Ridiculous.
There was an 1968 Tele Lefty Neck for sale last year for I guess 400-500 USD that was a fair price...

If you look at that bridge you can clearly tell it was setup to play righty so no wonder the body is not listed, someone must have chopped the upper horn and moved the controls.
