Sire V7 2nd generation 5 string.

Post by tomdbass »

I’m selling off my recently acquired Sire V7 (2nd generation) 5 string. The bass will need to have its preamp switched out due to the original one being faulty. The new replacement preamp is included, but will need to be installed. The bass works perfectly in passive mode but in active mode there seems to be some intermittent distortion. $500 (plus whatever shipping costs) gets it.

Gorgeous! Is this a first or second generation?

Yes. Ebony fingerboard as well.
It’s a great sounding bass just not for me. I purchased it in February, used it on a few things where I needed a 5 string and decided to let it go. No case included though.

The new preamp has been installed and the bass is working perfectly. Lowering the price to $450 plus shipping.
