Companion thread to the Sabre thread. Pre-EB 'Rays are surprisingly much rarer than Sabres, with all traceable to a single manufacturing run made in Feb/March 1980. And no, they're not getting any cheaper either. (This same shop had an '80 Sabre too that's sold):

That one was for sale for 2200 Euros from an Irish Musician and i tried to buy it but he sold it to that shop, who just ASAP doubled the price to resell.
I hope this will stay now forever at this right handed reseller.

Interesting. The company specializes in Banjos. MM basses are pretty much he only other thing they have in their inventory.

They're here in Atlanta but I've never actually been over to their shop. If I can get there I will update the group.
