1999 Lakland 55-94 For Sale.....maybe?

Post by tallboybass »

Hi fellow Southpaws, I'm thinking about selling my beloved 55-94 with Nordstrand PUs. Go ahead, call me a dope! I just thought I'd give you guys first shot at it, with an option to change my mind. If there's no interest here and I still want to sell, the next step is TalkBass.....then EvilBay.....you know the drill.

Need to get $2,295.

Thanks, Alan

PS - The fingerprints are free.

Wow, nice looking bass Alan! I'm not 5 string guy myself or I'd be tempted. Do you have your eye on a new bass or has the L-2000 won you over enough to be your only bass?

Thanks Andrew, I find myself owning 10 freakin' basses! Just need to move some stuff and this one is worth more than the rest of them combined. The L2000 is still in the shop, but it should cover most of my 4-string stuff. I find that my Carvin with pre-amp removed and PUs in series, covers the 5-string stuff OK. This bass is REALLY nice, plays and sounds like buttah.....just not sure I'm worthy of it.

Hey, Alan:

-What's the weight on that one?
-How are them frets?

I can put you out of your misery: buy it from you for 3 months, then when I realize I don't want/need it anymore, sell it back to you.

Didn't you just paid like $1500 for that off eBay? :x

Just kidding. . . ;)

BB400s are great basses! Do you have the light or dark finish?

I'm sorry I can't afford your Lakland(that neck is amazing!), I love those basses.

Gorgeous bass! Great, now I have major Lakland GAS!!

Unfortunately, it is way out of my price range, but don't worry, you'll find a buyer soon.

The bass came with Barts, which will be included. Preamp is the standard Bart....NTMB I think.

This bass is no longer available. I decided to keep it after getting a Genz Benz Shuttle. This amp really seems to bring out the best in the Lakland.

Thanks, Alan
