Not sure if there is any difference between these and the Am Std but they look really nice specially in white!
And Pink Floyd sure sounds great on a PB!

There are a few differences, but honestly, they are very similar to the AmStds.
I love this bass, but I am thinking of putting my AmStd Jazz neck on it. I play it more than the Jazz, and I love my Jazz's neck. Seems logical to swap them out.
I had one of these for a while. There are a few differences between an AM Pro and an Am Std. The Am Pro features the '63 P neck profile with narrow tall frets; Newer V-Mod PUP, which to my ears had more top end clarity and low end with a mid scoop than the custom shop classic 60's PUP in the Am Std; Fluted tuners. Not sure what else.

According to the specs the Pros have proper reverse audio pots, finally.
My first bass, a Westone purchased in 1983, had reversed pots. It's nice that Fender have caught up at last.
